The last part of the Šumava National Park with its beautiful lakes and the must-see 1,293-meter peak of Ostrý rewards tireless hikers with magnificent views. After Ostrý, the trail takes you to the region of Domažlice, where it enters the Český les Natural Reserve. This is where you climb Čerchov, the last mountain over 1,000 meters. A lot of the trail has hard surfaces, but this is balanced by the deserted countryside.
